New Album Coming Soon

I've started mastering the next Dizzy album.  It's going to be a very concise 11 tracks clocking in at about 36 minutes.  If you followed along with the song of the week, then you will recognize many Dizzy favorites like Snakehandling, Heavenly Radio, Moving To The Country, and Feeling Blue.  The album will be available at our upcoming August gigs!

Your Ways EP Available at CD Baby

Your Ways, the new five song EP from Whoa Dizzy is now available at CD Baby for purchase and download.  Your Ways features five of our favorite tracks from the recent Song of the Day broadcast, and provides a nice cross section of Whoa Dizzy's eclectic style.  The release careens from glittering guitar pop, to hard rock, to a little bluesy shuffle and back again.  Available now at CD Baby.

Tap Room and Web Updates

The Tap Room show went super fabulous!  Great crowd, and a great warm up for our show there next month at the Hub in Tacoma.  Was also just working on some updates to the web site.  It's now easy to purchase the Your Ways EP at CD Baby.  Neat!

Announcing Two New Shows

Whoa Dizzy will be coming to Tacoma for two upcoming shows.

We'll be playing at the Harmon Tap Room on Friday April 29, 9-12.   This venue is over 21 only.  The show starts at 9:00.  Please come out and enjoy some craft beer and original rock and roll.

Whoa Dizzy will be playing at the Harmon Hub on Saturday May 28, 9-12.  We'll be playing in the bar, but the restaurant area is all ages, so bring the kids!  The Harmon Hub has great beer and food and is a hopping night spot.  The show starts at 9:00.

Final Song of the Week.. For Awhile

For the band's final weekly release, at least until such time as this starts again, which will be a mere blink of the eye in geologic time, we bring you Same.  A song in which...  Boy meets girl.  Boy falls for girl.  Boy leaves girl.  Boy realizes he still loves girl, but the opportunity is lost.  Sad stuff...but there is no reason why it can't be wrapped in a lovely pop song.  But don't be fooled by its shiny exterior...the heart of this song is as complex as the plot is simple.

Can you dig it?

Won't Wash Away

After 13 consecutive weeks of on-time delivery of new original songs, we had to slow down a bit for number 14.  This new one, Won’t Wash Away, is a slow building, thoughtful song that required a bit more thoughtful work on the production, too.  Hope you didn’t mind the wait.
